I've been working with Gail as my WCB representative now for about a year as I suffered a Concussion almost 4 years ago and still suffer the symptom's of the brain injury which are Tinnitus, Vertigo, sever headaches, high anxiety and depression, as well memory issues. If you are having trouble dealing with your WCB claim be it financial, an appeal, or a disagreement with a WCB decision, I highly recommend having Gail as your advocate, she has not only accomplished more then we could have ever expected, but opened my eyes as to what the average injured worker doesn't know about there rights when it comes to compensation from WCB. Gail has taken all of the pressure off of me trying to deal with my injuries as well the worry of dealing with WCB, thank you Gail.

17/7/2014 08:21:17 pm What I post on this comments page below is neither a paid advertisement nor do I have any financial interest in Adorn Consulting. My first visit to this website was this evening, July18.2014.

The expertise, knowledge, preparedness for hearings, results, personableness, and approachability of my Adorn representative far exceeds my expectations of Adorn Consulting (known as Cumming Consulting when I was accepted as a client). Since becoming a client in 2012 I soon after learned why Gail C. and Kim H. have such in-depth knowledge of the WCB "system", its internal policies and directives, and key WCB decision makers. In short, they understand the WCB maze and they navigate through it with confidence and cool-headedness – meaning that they are not intimidated.
If you care to click on the video within this website you will find how Gail addresses and questions the WCB CEO in a very professional, reasonable and direct manner. Although I can’t say for sure, this exchange may have occurred at a recent WCB Annual General meeting. I very likely would have attended had I known about it but I will attend in 2015.
For what it’s worth, my opinion of the WCB operation in part, based on my personal experience, is that there are indeed caring and compassionate case managers, assistants, and team supervisors within the WCB organization. There are several specific names that easily come to mind and they know who they are - but, I also understand that the WCB front-line staff must work within the constraints of their WCB employer. On the other hand, although I am a reasonable person, who has treated the WCB front-line workers with respect 99% of the time, in the past I have also experienced confrontational, nasty, antagonistic and uncaring WCB case managers and supervisors who also protect and keep the benefits a secret as if they owned them.
I am a severely injured worker (spinal injury) since 2007 who, because of my chronic pain, medications, physical limitations, and mental stress, became worn down and no longer had the strength nor ability to think properly. Basically, I was unable to directly deal with WCB people or look after my own interests set out in the WBC Act and WCB regulations and policies.
At that time I knew that I needed help and with the recommendation from a fellow spinal-injured worker I approached [the formerly named] Cumming Consulting.
In requesting their help I also fully accepted that Cumming (Adorn) was neither a free service nor non-profit organization. Adorn Consulting has bills to pay, staff to feed, while also keeping on board the most capable advocates that I presume you (the injured worker) would expect. Appreciating their very significant time dedicated to my case (thank you K.) the fees I have paid are minor when compared to the WCB benefits, approved to date, that I absolutely need and am entitled to by law and regulation.
If you choose not to speak with the Adorn Consulting folks and that you are directly dealing with WCB…..STAY VIGILANT AND ATTENTIVE to how WCB is handling your claim - it is your life that WCB is dealing with. The manner in which WCB deals with you is largely set out in the WCB policies available for you to read and copy from their website. Finally, I have found it most helpful when speaking with your case manager, assistant or case manager supervisor, to be respectful and not cranky.
My comments here may or may not be in line with what this space is intended for but if they are then I hope others will add to this chat forum and find the postings helpful and less of a rant than found elsewhere on the internet. Thanks for listening – B from L3-L4-L5-S1.

4/8/2014 04:00:41 am I would like to start with a big THANK YOU to Gail and her team for all of the hard work.
I recently used Adorn Consulting to represent me in my 3 year battle with WCB. I was on benefits, cut off, on again, cut off. The stress and depression was crippling. Not only was I suffering, but my whole family was affected.
Dealing with the WCB case workers was very difficult - out of the 4 or 5 I had, only one was considerate and compassionate. The rest seemed to be on such a power trip. I was already scheduled for a Medical Review Panel when I contacted Gail. She accepted my case and helped me through every step of the process, assuring me and calming me down. She told me what to expect, and was there with me.
Once we received the news that we won the case, Gail really kicked into high gear to recover all of the benefits I should have had all along. Her extensive knowledge of WCB was very evident. She got me benefits and compensation that I never knew existed or was possible.
We feel truly blessed to have found Gail and her team. She was like an angel coming into my life to help sort out the WCB maze. I highly recommend Adorn Consulting, (and have already referred someone) for anyone with WCB issues. Totally a worthwile investment for me.

14/10/2015 06:04:13 pm Your compassion and determination to help the injured are heaven sent, you and Kim truly are earth angels! We can't imagine fighting this uphill battle on our own and we are for ever grateful we crossed paths. Keep up the awesome work and know that at the end of your day, thru all the investigating, appeals hearings and stress you deal with, you make a huge positive difference in the injured workers and families lives! 24/4/2017 08:17:57 pm Gail Cumming is the epitamy of professionalism and integrity. She is very knowledgeable in all things relating to WCB policies. She truly is an amazing person, she will fight to get you the benefits rightly owed to you. We were in a very dark place in our lives at the mercy of the WCB and on the verge of losing all benefits until we met Gail. Gail and her wonderful team at Adorn Consulting fought very hard for me and my family and won. I can honestly say that Gail and her staff truly want to help injured workers. We can never thank you enough Gail for all you did for me and my family. God Bless

Hi Gail,
Dwayne Jeffrey Washington has just posted a comment on your blog post, July 10th, 2014:
One can certainly "trust" Gail and her team. Having decades of experience working within the WCB - certainly has provided Gail with a wealth of experience and a solid compendium concerning the tactics of the Board - who are "supposed" to be you insurance provider - who are required by legislation to provide insurable entitlements...having a contractual obligation and a fiduciary responsibility to do so ...simply put....Gail has your best interests in mind and is certainly on top of PCA - which the insurer - the WCB, is disenfranchising injured workers - by changing the criteria and paying the same under Section 82. Basically removing the possibility of qualifying for insurable entitlement ... My best advice...obtain Gail as your advocate... or be lost in the moil and toil... the morass posturing as compensation provided by the WCB,,,
