The  need for us to assist workers in more than WCB benefits has resulted from identifying that serious injured workers that do not return to work are driven in to poverty by disability. The lack of funding for every day necessities is common. This has not only affected the worker but the families.

Just because you are injured it does not mean that you do not have other funding available such as C.P.P or other disability benefits. Disability is a costly event that not only costs WCB it costs the public, other disability plans and medical care system.

WCB has a goal to minimize costs to employers and have achieved their goals they are proud of. their cost savings.  My opinion is that this is on the backs of the seriously injured workers and we need to help minimize the affect on the workers. not the government and other disability providers.

If WCB is telling you your condition is not work related and your doctors indicate you can not work,  then you need to take control and get the ball moving for other benefits. whether your sad, depressed pain focus, medicated or restricted.

Sometimes people do not know to tell the disability carrier at work that they were injured and most people do not know that you usually only have a few months to apply ahead of getting cut off WCB. We are here to help. Free consultation on the phone for the first consultation. So call and see if we are the right fit to assist you in your difficulties with disability benefits.
