WCB Offers seminars to union representative to assist them in learning how to appeal claims. These seminars are NOT offered to workers.

The question is whether the union is your best chose for representation if the experience and education is needed.

WHY NO SEMINARS FOR WORKERS. EMPLOYERS AND UNIONS ONLY.

WORKERS SHOULD QUESTION THIS BIAS POSITON WCB HAS TAKEN
.

 QUOTE FROM WCB WEBSITE:
Union representative seminars
As a union representative, you play an important role in helping your members understand workers' compensation and our processes, should they become injured at work.

We offer two seminars specifically designed for labour/union representatives to help you become more informed and better prepared to help workers and/or employers who may seek your assistance.

Seminars are offered in Edmonton and Calgary and have been designed to be taken together over two days (but can be taken as stand-alone courses if preferred). All seminars are offered at no cost to labour/union representatives.
